Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary Bentley's custom coachbuilding division, Mulliner, has designed a unique key case to celebrate the brand's centenary. Made of Dark Stained Walnut and Piano Black veneer, it includes a flying 'B' paperweight, a set of keys as well as a brochure with never-before-seen 1930 8 Litre imagery. Bentley estimates that it takes around 500 man-hours to construct and put together the Mulsanne. The Key Lab to that time-consuming effort is a conscious refusal to embrace the latest technology. The Crewe factory workers do not employ a machine to place perfectly matched cross stitched leather seats. Instead, they do it by hand. Instead of using the car's built-in sensors guide it into perpendicular and parallel parking spaces, drivers have to do it manually. The event also saw Bentley displayed its Mulliner personalization options with a special example that was the Mulsanne W.O. Edition, which pays tribute to the man who founded the company, William Osler Bentley. The limited-edition cars come with the key with a special design that shows a portion of the 1930 8 Liter's crankshaft.
